About the Artist
Christine-Gayle Rios was born on July 24, 1992 in Manila, Philippines. Shortly that same year, her family moved to Oxnard, California. She spent most of her childhood there and it was then that she discovered her love of creating things through illustration.
In the summer of 2006, she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she would attend high school and college to persue illustrative art.
In July of 2015, she began a job prepressing graphics for a tradeshow graphics company. This job would lead into her experience in graphic design and print formatting, ultimately solidifying her career as a graphic designer.

In addition to her day jobs, she would design and illustrate under her art name, The Facepalm Queen. Some of her work included logo and merch designs for Sin City Roller Derby, Death Drop Roller Skate Shop, and Bout Betties, as well as created her own line of stickers and illustrations.

She is currently working as an independent graphic designer and illustrator alongside her current job in prepress for a gift card company.
